When it comes to the Public Betting, the Panthers are getting 76 percent of the wagers as the road favorite. Carolina is 6-5 on the season, 1-4 on the road and 5-6 against the spread. Tampa is 4-7 overall, 3-2 at home and 4-6-1 against the spread. Carolina already owns a 42-28 win at home over Tampa on Nov. 4.
Another team with a lot of support at the betting window is the surging Indianapolis Colts as they are set to go on the road to face the Jacksonville Jaguars today at 1PM ET. According to the latest oddsmakers, the Colts are a 4-point favorite on the road against the Jags. Of the wagers placed on the game, 75 percent are going on the Colts as the road favorite. Indy has won five straight coming into today and is 6-5 overall, 2-3 on the road and 5-5-1 against the spread. Jacksonville has lost seven straight and is now 3-8 overall, 2-3 at home and 3-6-2 against the spread. The Jags will be going with Cody Kessler at QB today. Indy won the first meeting with Jacksonville this year, 29-26 at home on Nov. 11. The Jaguars are 6-0-1 against the spread in the last seven games of this series.
The game that is the most split amongst bettors today has the Pittsburgh Steelers playing host to the Los Angeles Clippers tonight at 8:20PM ET in Sunday Night Football. Oddsmakers currently list the Steelers as a 3-point favorite at home against the Chargers. When it comes to the wagers on the game, they are split right down the middle with each team getting 50 percent. Pittsburgh comes into today’s game 7-3-1 overall, 3-2 at home and 6-4-1 against the spread. Los Angeles is 8-3 overall, 4-1 on the road and 6-5 against the spread. Pittsburgh has won four of its last five against the Chargers and has covered in three of the last four meetings.
