The Colts are coming off a 31-28 loss at New England last week. The Colts have been perfect at home despite their road struggles as they have scored at least 23 points in all but one home game this year. The Colts average 26.8 points per game offensively, led by Peyton Manning, who has thrown for 3,059 yards and 20 touchdowns. The Indianapolis defense is allowing 21.6 points per game but allowing just 207.7 passing yards per contest.

In terms of injuries, San Diego tight end Antonio Gates is questionable to play because of a foot injury while receivers Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee are both probable to play. Vincent Jackson is also expected to make his season debut for the Chargers today. For Indy, Colts receiver Reggie Wayne is questionable with a knee injury while Joseph Addai is questionable with a shoulder injury.
