Chargers vs. Colts Preview
The Indianapolis Colts are looking to get back on track after losing last week to the Patriots, but they face a tough test this Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.
According to NFL Week 12 odds and oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, the Colts are 2.5-point favorites over the Chargers on Sunday. The over/under total for this game is currently 51 points.
The Chargers are 5-5 overall this year and 5-5 against the spread according to latest NFL trends. They’re 1-4 on the road this year and have failed to cover in four of five games away from home.
The Colts are 6-4 overall and have covered in six of 10 games, which includes one push. They’re a perfect 4-0 at home this season and have covered in three of four games at the RCA Dome in 2010.
NFL Week 12 Free Pick:
The Chargers have had a ton of success against the Colts over the years, but Indy has played incredibly well at home this season. It’s tough to go against Peyton Manning at home coming off a loss, so we won’t. Philip Rivers has played at an MVP level, but he could have trouble moving the ball against a swarming Colts’ defense. Indy is 7-0-1 against the spread in its last eight games in Week 12 and 5-1-1 ATS in its last seven games in November. The Colts are also 4-1-1 against the spread in their last six games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games at home. Our pick is the Colts -2.5.
2010 NFL WEEK 13 FREE PICK: INDIANAPOLIS COLTS -2.5
