Gronkowski returns
The New England Patriots and quarterback Tom Brady get back their top receiver today as tight end Rob Gronkowski will be in the lineup after missing the last few games with ankle and back injuries. According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, the Patriots are favored on the road against the New York Jets, as they are getting odds of -10.5 points against New York. Gronkowski has been dealing with the ankle issue all year. It has kept him to just 29 receptions for 448 yards and one touchdown on the season. Still, Gronkowski is a big force in the blocking game, as well as the pass game, for the Patriots.
Tannehill back for Miami
The Miami Dolphins will get quarterback Ryan Tannehill back today as they travel to Indianapolis to face the Colts at 4:25PM ET. Tannehill has missed the last five games with a shoulder injury. Oddsmakers are listing the Dolphins as an 8-point underdog on the road against Indy today. Tannehill has thrown for 972 yards and eight touchdowns with five interceptions this season. Brock Osweiler replaced him while injured and threw for 1,247 yards and six touchdowns with four interceptions. Miami was 2-3 in the games with Osweiler and 3-2 in the games with Tannehill starting.
Green doubtful to return
The Cincinnati Bengals are expected to be without their leading receiver, A.J. Green for another week, as he was unable to practice all week due to his toe injury. Green has been out since Week 8 and the Bengals are preparing to host the Cleveland Browns today at 1PM ET. Oddsmakers are listing the Bengals as a favorite in this game, as they are getting odds of -1 point against the Browns. Green has caught 45 passes for 687 yards and six touchdowns this year. The Bengals haven’t won a game since Green was injured.
