Week 12 in the NFL kicks off with three Thanksgiving Day games. Here's a look at the opening spreads for this week's action.
Thanksgiving Day Games
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the first-place Lions opened as a 2.5-point favorite versus the Vikings for Thursday's 12:30PM ET kickoff but are now -3. In the afternoon game, the Cowboys are 7-point home favorites versus NFC East-rival Washington at 4:30PM ET and the Colts are a 2.5-point home underdog versus the Steelers at 8:30PM ET on Thanksgiving night.
Primetime Week 12
The two primetime games this week carry plenty of intrigue, as the Broncos host the Chiefs in a AFC West clash on Sunday night and the Packers try to end their four-game losing streak in Philadelphia on Monday night. Denver opened as a 3.5-point favorite versus Kansas City for SNF and the MNF line has yet to be posted, likely due to the injuries that both Green Bay and Philadelphia are dealing battling.
Best of the Best on Sunday
Sunday afternoon lacks for marquee matchups but there are some intriguing contests nonetheless. Fresh off their bye week the first-place Falcons host the reeling Cardinals at 1:00PM ET in Atlanta. The Falcons opened as a 3-point home favorite but the line immediately was bet up to 4. The Ravens also host the Bengals in a clash of AFC North rivals at 1:00PM ET. Ironically, Baltimore also opened as a field-goal favorite before the line was bet up to 4. In other divisional action, the Jets will host the Patriots at 4:25PM ET on Sunday afternoon. New England is currently an 8.5-point road favorite.
The Bears are a 2-point home underdog versus the Titans at 1:00PM ET on Sunday while the Bills are favored by a touchdown over the Jaguars. The Giants are a 7-point road favorite at winless Cleveland while the Chargers and Texans are currently listed as a pick'em in Houston. The red-hot Dolphins are a 7.5-point home favorite versus the Niners while the Saints are -7 versus the Rams and the Seahawks are a 5-point road favorite in Tampa. Finally, the Raiders are a 3.5-point home favorite versus the Panthers after opening as a 4-point fave.
