Titans vs. Colts Prediction
Will the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans repeat their high-scoring meeting from a few weeks ago when they face off today at 1PM ET?
According to the oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Colts are favored at home in this game, as they are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Titans. The over/under total is listed at 52.5 points. The Colts have won their last 10 against the Titans and the two have hit the over in three straight meetings, including a 34-26 win for the Colts at Tennessee back on Oct. 23.
The Titans are coming off a 47-25 win at home over the Packers last week to move to 5-5 on the season. The Titans are now 8-2 with the over this season, hitting it in seven straight games as their offense has really been explosive as of late. They have scored at least 35 points in three straight and at least 26 in six straight games. They are now averaging 26.4 points and 395.4 yards per game on offense. Marcus Mariota has thrown for 2,482 yards and 21 touchdowns with just 8 interceptions to lead the offense while DeMarco Murray has run for 930 yards with eight touchdowns. Defensively, Tennessee is giving up 25.1 points and 380.8 yards per game. They have struggled against the pass, giving up 287.1 yards per game. However, they are strong up front and have 28 sacks as a team.
The Colts are also coming off a win over the Packers as well, but theirs was two weeks ago in Green Bay, 31-26. Indy is 4-5 with the win and it is 7-2 with the over this season. The Colts have hit the over in five of their last six games. Indy has an offense that puts up big numbers, averaging 26.6 points and 383 yards per game. However, the Colts lack of a run game puts the pressure on QB Andrew Luck. The Colts average just 98 rushing yards per game while Luck has thrown for 2,565 yards and 17 touchdowns this season. T.Y. Hilton is his top receiver, as he has 52 catches for 791 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, Indy has really struggled, allowing 28.4 points and 413.1 yards per game, including nearly 300 yards per game through the air.

While I think Tennessee may show improvement on defense this time around against the Colts, Indianapolis is still likely to put up a good number of points because I believe the Titans will put up a big number for Indy to chase. The Titans have an offense that is really clicking and I don’t think Indianapolis will be able to stop it this time around. Look for a similar total to the first meeting.
