Bills vs. Bengals Pick

NFL Picks: Will the Bills and Bengals go under the 47-point total?

Can the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills find a way to put up enough points to hit the over on Sunday?

According to the oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Bengals are favored at home for Sunday’s game, as Cincy is getting odds of -2.5 points against the Bills. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 47 points. The Bengals have won three straight meetings with the Bills and the two have hit the over in seven straight encounters.

Bet on Bills vs. Bengals

Buffalo is coming off the bye week, but they lost three straight prior to that to fall to 4-5 on the season. The Bills have hit the over in five straight and in seven of nine games this season. Buffalo started with a good defense, but the Bills are giving up 373.7 yards per game and 22.6 points per contest. They have 30 sacks this year, led by 10 from Lorenzo Alexander. Zach Brown has 89 tackles and three sacks. Offensively, Buffalo is averaging 26.3 points and 356.6 yards per game. They have a solid ground game, led by LeSean McCoy, who has 683 yards and six touchdowns. Tyrod Taylor has added 362 rushing yards and 1,769 passing yards with 10 touchdowns.

The Bengals suffered a 21-20 loss to the Giants in New York on Monday. They are now 3-6 on the season and 5-4 with the over. Cincy is averaging just 20.8 points and 399.2 yards per game on offense. Andy Dalton has passed for 2,553 yards, but has just 10 touchdowns on the season to go with four interceptions. A.J. Green has 66 receptions for 964 yards and four scores while Jeremy Hill is the leading rusher with 561 yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, Cincinnati is giving up 23.3 points and 387 yards per contest. They have 17 sacks and have forced 12 turnovers. Carlos Dunlap is leading the way with 29 tackles and five sacks.

This game features a pair of defenses that can limit opponents and they also have offenses that have struggled in their own ways. Cincinnati hasn’t been able to finish off drives in many instances and the Bills have relied too much on the big play to score. I see both teams struggling to put up points in this game, keeping things under a lofty total.
