NFL Week 11 Betting Report
Which game has the biggest spread for Week 11 in the NFL? What about the smallest? Where is there the most initial line movement? Which teams are public bettors already hopping on? Here is our Week 11 NFL betting report.
Biggest Point Spread
The largest line for Week 11 is for the NFC West matchup between the Cardinals and 49ers in San Francisco. The Niners opened as 14-point home favorites for Sunday’s 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff, but the line has dropped to 13.5 at most books. Nevertheless, this matchup has the largest point spread for Week 11. Arizona is 4-0 against the spread in its last four meetings with San Francisco and is 4-1 ATS in its last five road games versus the Niners.
Smallest Point Spread
Fresh off their upset victory over the Giants, the Jets are 1-point road underdogs to Washington at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. This is the smallest point spread for Week 11, as the game features the two-win Jets and the one-win Redskins. While the favorite is 4-1-1 against the spread in the last six meetings between these two teams, the Jets are 3-0-1 against the number in their last four games versus the Redskins.
Both NFC South matchups this weekend have high totals, with the Falcons-Panthers number opening at 51 and staying at 51, while the Saints-Bucs game lists an over/under of 51.5 (up from the opening number of 50.5). The under is 9-2-1 in the last 12 meetings between the Falcons and Panthers and is 17-5-2 in the last 24 meetings between the two teams in Charlotte. The under is also 5-1 in the last six meetings between the Saints and Bucs at Raymond James Stadium and is 15-7 in the last 22 meetings between the two teams overall.
The Jets-Redskins game in D.C. currently has the lowest point spread, as well as the lowest total in Week 11. The number opened at 37.5 and that’s where the over/under currently sits at most sports books. That said, the over has cashed in five of the last six meetings between these two teams.
Largest Home Underdog
The Dolphins have won back-to-back games for the first time all year and they still can’t get any love from oddsmakers. After beating the Colts as a 10-point underdog on Sunday, the Dolphins opened as 6.5-point dogs versus the Bills for this weekend’s 1:00 p.m. ET AFC East matchup. The favorite is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams.
Largest Line Movement
The Eagles opened as 1-point home favorites versus the Patriots on Sunday but the line has since jumped the fence. Now New England, which was idle last week after losing to the Ravens the week before, is a 3.5-point road favorite for the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. The road team is 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams but the underdog is 6-1 against the number in the last seven meetings while the Patriots are just 1-4 ATS in their last five games against the Eagles.
Biggest Public Support
According to our NFL Public Betting Chart page, the Raiders are receiving 70% of the betting tickets for their matchup with the Bengals at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday. Oakland improved to 5-4 on the season with its win over the Chargers last Thursday night, while the Bengals dropped to 0-9 with another embarrassing loss to the Ravens on Sunday. While the home team is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams, the Bengals have covered the spread in five of their last six games versus the Raiders.
