Ravens struggling
Baltimore has dropped three of four and two straight after suffering a 36-21 loss at Carolina last week. The Ravens are now 4-4 overall, 4-4 against the spread and 5-3 with the under. Baltimore has hit the under in five of their last six games.
Baltimore still has a strong defense, as the Ravens are giving up just 17.1 points and 314.6 yards per game. The unit has 27 sacks this season and is led by Terrell Suggs with 5.5. Offensively, Baltimore is putting up 24.6 points and 388.4 yards per game. Joe Flacco is having one of his best seasons in a while, throwing for 2,259 yards and 12 touchdowns with six interceptions. John Brown is his leading receiver with 31 catches for 586 yards and four scores. Alex Collins is the leading rusher with 358 yards and five touchdowns, but he is questionable for Sunday with a foot injury.
Steelers finding their groove
The Steelers seem to have gotten on track, winning their last three games following a 33-18 win over the Browns last week. Pittsburgh is now 4-2-1 overall, 4-3 against the spread and 5-2 with the over. They have hit the over in two of their three road games.
Pittsburgh is rolling on offense right now, averaging 29.1 points and 427.1 yards per game this season. They continue to produce at a high level without Le’Veon Bell, who still hasn’t reported to the team. James Conner has rushed for 599 yards and nine touchdowns while Ben Roethlisberger has thrown for 2,290 yards and 14 touchdowns. Antonio Brown has 46 catches for 552 yards and eight touchdowns. Defensively, Pittsburgh is allowing 24.6 points and 381.7 yards per contest. Their pass defense has struggled, giving up 287.3 yards per contest.
NFL Betting Trends
Baltimore
The Ravens have hit the under in four straight division games and in six of their last seven games in November.
Pittsburgh
The Steelers have hit the under in 10 of their last 12 games on fieldturf and in 24 of their last 32 road games.
Prediction:
These two put up 40 points in their first meetings this year, a win for the Ravens. They have hit the under in their last four meetings in Baltimore as well. I like the under to hit again today. The Steelers have been beating up on bad defenses since the loss to the Ravens, but things will fall back into place on Sunday. Baltimore matches up well with Pittsburgh and the Ravens are going to try and play ball-control on offense to keep the scoring low.
NFL Prediction: Steelers/Ravens Under 47
