New England Patriots Fantasy Spin

Patriots activated N'Keal Harry (ankle) from injured reserve. Harry has been practicing the last two weeks. Getting activated off IR puts him on track to make his debut Sunday night against the Ravens. Harry's path to targets took a hit when the Patriots traded for Mohamed Sanu, but he should push for snaps in three-wide sets. Out since August, Harry's role figures to be limited if active this week.

Baltimore Ravens Fantasy Spin

Coach John Harbaugh expects WR Marquise Brown (questionable, ankle) to suit up Sunday night against the Patriots. Brown is tentatively expected to return this week after missing two games. His reward is a likely shadow date against arguably the single-best CB in the league. Stephon Gilmore has held the likes of Odell Beckham Jr. (5-52-0), Antonio Brown (4-49-1), DeAndre Hopkins (8-78-0), Allen Robinson (1-4-0) and Davante Adams (6-40-1) mostly in check over the past season and a half. Hollywood is more of a boom-or-bust WR4 in this brutal matchup.

New England

The under is 4-1 in the Patriots’ last five games overall and is 24-9 in their last 33 road games as well.

Baltimore

The over is 4-1 in the Ravens’ last five conference games but the under is 8-3 in their last 11 games coming off a bye.

NFL Week 9 Prediction

The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams in Baltimore and is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall. That said, I don’t see how the Ravens move the ball consistently against this nasty New England defense, that has been suffocating opponents all year. Granted, the Patriots also haven’t played anyone close to Lamar Jackson, but to suggest that their success is purely because of their weak schedule is naïve. On the other side, there’s a reason why the Patriots took a flier on troubled receiver Antonio Brown and traded a second-round pick for Mohamed Sanu at the deadline: Their passing game lacks sizzle. I see the Patriots controlling the ball for long possessions, limiting Jackson’s big-play potential and keeping the scoring in check.

NFL WEEK 9 PREDICTION: PATRIOTS/RAVENS UNDER 44.5
