Cincinnati Bengals DFS Spin
Joe Burrow completed 19-of-29 passes for 271 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the Bengals’ 34-11, Week 6 win over the Lions, adding five carries for 20 additional yards. Burrow’s day ended with over 8:30 left in the 4th quarter, as the Bengals absolutely demolished the Lions. His day was actually stronger than his numbers suggest. Burrow was at his best connecting deep with Ja’Marr Chase, who he hit deep twice, including for a 53 yarder. Burrow’s interception bounced off of Chase’s hands. It wasn’t a perfect throw, but the interception wasn’t on Burrow. The second year quarterback is hitting his stride and looks like a low end QB1 against the Ravens in Week 7.
Baltimore Ravens DFS Spin
Lamar Jackson completed 19-of-27 passes for 167 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Ravens’ 34-6, Week 6 win over the Chargers, adding eight carries for 51 additional yards. Jackson was electrifying on the short week coming off Monday night’s stirring victory over the Colts, but it was his trio of elderly running backs in Latavius Murray, Le’Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman who got the fantasy glory. With Ty’Son Williams healthy scratched, each of the Ravens’ “Old Three” found the end zone. The Chargers have a soft run defense by design, and Lamar’s dual-threat opens up massive holes. Jackson’s score was a nine-yard strike to Mark Andrews. His first interception was a truly awful throw where he didn’t see the linebacker dropping back over the middle of the field. His second was Rashod Bateman’s fault, with the rookie letting a perfect pass bounce up into the air for a pick. Running as hot as anyone in the league right now, Jackson gets a divisional test in Week 7 vs. the Bengals.
