NFL Week 7 Picks & Predictions
Week 7 of the NFL season kicks off tonight when the Seahawks visit the 49ers and if you're looking to get some plays in either, check out these matchups.
Cleveland Browns at St. Louis Rams, 1:00PM ET Sunday
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Rams are 6-point home favorites versus the Browns and 68% of public wagers are on St. Louis. But the Rams aren't where the value lies. Cleveland has scored at least 20 points in each of its last five games and has scored a combined 83 points in its last three games. The Browns are due for a regression on offense and this should be the week that it happens. The Rams boast a top 10 defense and a fierce pass rush led by Aaron Donald. St. Louis is also struggling offensively through the air and will need to lean on Todd Gurley and the ground game to earn its third win of the season. Take the under 41.5.
Atlanta Falcons at Tennessee Titans, 1:00PM ET Sunday
It's best not to over-think situations. The Saints handed the Falcons their first loss of the season last Thursday night but Atlanta moved the ball at will in the first half. The Falcons turned the ball over multiple times in Saints territory and had a punt blocked for a touchdown. Good teams bounce back after losses and the Falcons aren't a fluke. The extra rest for Julio Jones (who has been battling a hamstring) should aid an offense that bogged itself down in Week 6. Marcus Mariota is unlikely to play due to a knee injury and Atlanta's improved defense should handle Zach Mettenberger. Take the Falcons -3.5.
New Orleans Saints at Indianapolis Colts, 1:00PM ET Sunday
The Saints got some help from the Falcons last Thursday night but they also started to move the ball better offensively. Drew Brees is completely healed from the shoulder injury that held him out in Week 2 and the offense started to get into a rhythm against Atlanta last week. The Colts, meanwhile, should have a hangover after playing the Patriots on Sunday night football and while they may wind up earning their fourth win of the season, the underdog has value in this spot. Take the Saints +4.5.
