Redskins vs. Dolphins Week 6 Prediction
In a matchup only a bettor could love, the winless Redskins will take on the winless/tanking Dolphins at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. Catching 3.5 points at home, are the Dolphins actually a value play for bettors this afternoon?

Washington Redskins Fantasy Spin
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Case Keenum is expected to start Week 6 against the Dolphins. That’s as long as his foot checks out after Keenum was previously in a walking boot. Coach Bill Callahan refused to name a starter Wednesday, but literally any of the three of Keenum, Colt McCoy, and Dwayne Haskins could get the nod. Obviously, none are fantasy options, but at least Keenum made Terry McLaurin viable in fantasy.
Miami Dolphins Fantasy Spin
Coach Brian Flores said the starting quarterback situation is “settled” and Josh Rosen will start the remainder of the season. Flores said he likes the progress he’s seen from Rosen the last few weeks and is ready to roll with him the rest of 2019 barring injury. Rosen has started the last two games and is 35-of-63 for 380 yards and a 1:1 TD:INT mark. Week 6 against the similarly-awful Redskins might be Rosen’s best shot of the season to reach 300-plus yards and multiple touchdowns.
NFL Betting Trends
Washington
The Redskins are 0-4 against the spread in their last four games overall.
Miami
The Dolphins have failed to cover in seven straight games and are 0-4 against the number in their last four home games.
Prediction
The Redskins just fired their head coach and I still can’t find it within myself to back a team that is openly trying to lose. So, I’ll lay the 3.5 points and hope that Washington has enough pride to win its first game of the season and get over the number. Plus, I have a little more faith in Keenum’s ability to win a game right now than Rosen. There’s just not much to like about this hapless Miami squad.
NFL Week 6 Prediction: Washington Redskins -3.5
