Bills vs. Cardinals Week 6 Odds
PHOENIX, AZ (The Spread) – The Cardinals will look to push their record to 5-1 when they host the Bills at 4:05PM ET on Sunday.
BUFFALO: The Bills were humiliated for the second week in a row when they lost 45-3 to the 49ers last Sunday as a 10-point road underdog. This came after the 52-28 loss to the Patriots in Week 4 as a 3.5-point home underdog. Buffalo is now 2-3 overall and 2-3 against the spread, while the over is 4-1 in the Bills first five games. Ryan Fitzpatrick has thrown for 1,057 yards through five games, while Scott Chandler has a team-high four touchdowns. Defensively, Kyle Williams has 3.5 sacks and Bryan Scott has two interceptions.
ARIZONA: The Cardinals lost their first game of 2012 when they were defeated 17-3 by the Rams in St. Louis last Thursday night. They’re now 4-1 overall and 3-2 against the spread, although they haven’t covered the number the past two weeks. Kevin Kolb leads the team in passing with 1,041 yards, while Andre Robert has a team-high four touchdowns. Kolb was sacked nine times in last week’s loss, and was constantly harassed thanks to his brutal offensive line. Fortunately for him, big-money free agent Mario Williams of Buffalo has been a ghost through five weeks.
ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Cardinals as 4.5-point home favorites over the Bills, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 43 points. Buffalo is 2-3 overall and 1-2 on the road, while Arizona is 4-1 overall and 3-0 at home.
TRENDS: The Bills are 1-4 against the spread in their last five road games and 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games overall. The Cardinals, meanwhile, are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight home games but 1-6 against the number in their last seven games in October.
