Eagles vs. Steelers Week 5 Prediction
After picking up their first win of the season, will the Eagles cover as a 7-point road dog on Sunday when they visit the Steelers at 1:00 p.m. ET? Or is there a better play on the board when it comes to this non-conference matchup?
Game Snapshot
465 Philadelphia Eagles (+7) at 466 Pittsburgh Steelers (-7); o/u 44.5

Philadelphia Eagles DFS Spin
Carson Wentz completed 18-of-28 passes for 193 yards a touchdown, and an interception in the Eagles’ Week 4 win over the 49ers, adding seven rushed for 37 yards and a touchdown. Wentz still struggled under pressure but made a handful of nice throws that ultimately propelled him and the Eagles over San Francisco. His depleted offensive line has forced him to scramble more often in recent weeks. Wentz has now scored on the ground in three straight games. He had never even logged back-to-back games with rushing scores before this year. Wentz faces Pittsburgh next week in another difficult matchup. His newfound rushing production makes him a risky QB2.
Pittsburgh Steelers DFS Spin
Ben Roethlisberger completed 23-of-36 passes for 237 yards and two scores in Pittsburgh’s Week 3 28-21 win over the Texans. Big Ben attempted two deep shots early to Diontae Johnson (concussion) but scaled his own aggressiveness back once the latter exited after a hard hit in the first half. Roethlisberger’s second touchdown was a walk in the park as JuJu Smith-Schuster (4/43/1) ran free for a 26-yard score behind busted coverage in Houston’s secondary. Although Sunday was easy for coach Mike Tomlin to pin the ball in James Conner’s (18/109/1) belly and cruise to a win in the second half, Roethlisberger’s arm will be needed in Week 4 against Tennessee. He’ll be a fringe QB1 for fantasy in that matchup.
Eagles vs. Steelers Betting Prediction
The Eagles are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games as a road underdog, are 10-4 against the number in their last 14 games played in the month of October and have covered in nine of their last 13 games coming off a win. Meanwhile, the Steelers haven’t played in two weeks after having their game against the Titans postponed due to positive COVID tests for Tennessee. The Steelers might need to knock the rust off and they’re 4-9-1 against the spread in their last 14 games as a favorite. I’m backing the dog here.
