Redskins vs. Ravens Prediction
Will the Ravens cover as a slight home favorite today when they host the Redskins at 1:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Ravens are 4-point home favorites versus the Redskins while the over/under currently sits at 45.5 points. Both the line and the total have moved off the original numbers for this matchup, as Baltimore went from -3.5 up to -4, and the over/under went from 46.5 down to 45.5.
WASHINGTON: The Redskins are 4-0 against the spread in their last four road games and are 5-2 against the number in their last seven games played in Week 5. That said, they're 1-4 against the number in their last five games versus a team with a winning record and are 5-15-1 ATS in their last 21 games after allowing more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.
BALTIMORE: The Ravens are just 2-6-2 against the spread in their last 10 games following an ATS loss and are 2-8-2 at the betting window in their last 12 games coming off a loss. They're also 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games played in Week 5 and are 2-10-1 ATS in their last 13 home games.
OUR PREDICTION: Despite losing to the Raiders last week as a small home favorite, the Ravens re-discovered their dormant running game as Terrance West rushed for over 100 yards. Baltimore will now get Kenneth Dixon back, so look for the Ravens to control this game in the trenches and eventually pull away from a Redskins team that is still fraudulent despite winning back-to-back games.
