Lions vs. Seahawks Odds
The Seattle Seahawks look to keep the Detroit Lions as the lone winless team in the NFL tonight when the two meet at 8:30PM ET on ESPN Monday Night Football.
According to oddsmakers at GTBets, the Seahawks are the clear favorite at home, as they are getting odds of -10 points against the Lions. The over/under total for the game has been set at 43 points. The Seahawks have won three of their last four against the Lions, but Detroit is 3-2 against the spread in the last five of this series.
Seattle is 1-2 on the season, 1-2 against the spread and 2-1 with the under. After losses to the Rams and Packers to open the season, Seattle got its first win last week with a 26-0 win over the Bears at home. The Seahawks are averaging 24.7 points and 364.7 yards per game on offense, but the team is without Marshawn Lynch tonight, who has a hamstring injury. Lynch has 128 yards on the season while Russell Wilson has rushed for 137 yards while throwing for 692 yards and four scores. With Lynch out, rookie Thomas Rawls steps in. He had 104 yards last week against the Bears. The Seattle defense is holding opponents to 20.3 points and 303.3 yards per game. The unit is led by Michael Bennett, who has 10 tackles and two sacks.
Detroit is 0-3 on the season, 0-3 against the spread and 2-1 with the under. The Lions have lost to the Chargers, Vikings and Broncos this season. The Lions are putting up just 18.7 points per game on offense and have the league’s worst rushing attack at just 45 yards per game. Starting back Joique Bell is out for this game with an injury as well. Matthew Stafford has thrown for 814 yards and five TDs, but also has five interceptions. Calvin Johnson has caught 20 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown. On defense, Detroit is allowing 27.7 points and 405.3 yards per game. Ezekial Ansah has 12 tackles and two sacks to lead the defense, but he is questionable to play tonight due to injury.
