Two teams still searching for their first win will meet in Cincinnati on Sunday when the Bengals host the Cardinals at 1:00 p.m. ET. With the number sitting at 47 points, what’s the best play for bettors when it comes to the total?

According to our NFL Football Public Betting Chart page, the Cardinals are receiving 55% of the betting tickets from online sportsbooks.
Arizona Cardinals Fantasy Spin
Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury believes Christian Kirk (ankle) could return in Week 6. Kirk’s ankle injury wasn’t as serious as originally feared (there was speculation it could be a season-ender), though it’s doubtful we see him against the Bengals this week. “It could have been a lot worse,” said Kingsbury. With Kirk and Damiere Byrd (hamstring) unlikely to suit up Sunday, expect the Cardinals to roll with Larry Fitzgerald, KeeSean Johnson and Trent Sherfield in three-wide sets.
Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Spin
Bengals placed WR John Ross (clavicle) on injured reserve. Ross can’t catch a break in terms of injuries; he’ll be sidelined a minimum of eight games before being eligible to return from I.R. Ross left with a shoulder injury this past Monday night and has been diagnosed with a collarbone issue. Ross can now be dropped in season-long leagues. The Bengals signed WR Stanley Morgan off their practice squad to take Ross’ spot.
NFL Betting Trends
Arizona
The under is 8-3 in the Cardinals’ last 11 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game.
Cincinnati
The under is 4-1 in the Bengals’ last five games when playing on Sunday following a Monday night game.
Prediction
The under is 6-1-2 in the Bengals’ last nine games overall, is 4-0 in their last four games following an ATS loss and is 6-1-1 in their last eight games following a loss of more than 14 points. The Cardinals have struggled defensively, but I don’t trust either of these offenses. The Bengals couldn’t move the ball against an average Pittsburgh defense on Monday night and Arizona has struggled in the red zone all season. I think this total is too high.
