Cowboys vs. Saints Odds
The busy day of NFL action concludes tonight when the New Orleans Saints host the Dallas Cowboys at 8:30PM ET on NBC.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Saints are the slight favorite at home in this game, as they are getting odds of -3.5 points against the Cowboys. The over/under total for the game has been set at 47.5 points. New Orleans has won three of its last four against the Cowboys, but Dallas is 3-2 against the spread in its last five against the Saints. These two have hit the over in four straight meetings.
Dallas is 2-1 on the season, 1-2 against the spread and 2-1 with the over. Dallas started the year with wins over the Giants and Eagles, but lost Tony Romo in the second game and then lost to the Falcons at home last week. Dallas is scoring and giving up 25 points per game thus far on the season. Brandon Weeden has thrown for 305 yards with one touchdown in his limited action. Joseph Randle has rushed for 203 yards and three touchdowns while Sean Lee has 33 tackles with one sack and an interception.
New Orleans is 0-3 on the season, 1-2 against the spread and 2-1 with the over. The Saints have lost to the Cardinals, Buccaneers and Panthers this season. Last week’s loss was without Drew Brees, who sat out with a shoulder injury. Brees is back for this week’s game and he looks to lead an offense that is averaging just 20 points per game. Brees has thrown for 610 yards and two touchdowns this season, but has been sacked six times. The leading rusher is Mark Ingram, who has just 127 yards on 39 carries. The New Orleans defense is allowing 28 points and 402.3 yards per game. Hau’oli Kikaha is leading the unit with 18 tackles and two sacks.
