The Odds
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Seahawks are 13-point favorites versus the Colts, who opened as 12.5-point underdogs. As for the total, the number hit the board at 41 but has been bet up slightly to 41.5.
Indianapolis Colts Betting Trends
The Colts have covered the spread in 11 of their last 15 games played in Week 4 and are 26-8 against the number in their last 34 games against a team with a losing record. That said, they’re just 1-7 against the number in their last eight games after scoring than 30 points in their previous game and are 0-4 at the betting window in their last four games coming off a win.
Seattle Seahawks Betting Trends
The Seahawks, meanwhile, have failed to cover the spread in their last four games. They’re also just 3-7-1 against the spread in their last 11 games played in October, but are 5-2 against the number in their last seven home games. They’ve also covered the spread in seven of their last nine games coming off a loss.

OUR PREDICTION: Something that was buried in the Seahawks’ loss last week on the road to the Titans was that Russell Wilson and the beleaguered Seattle offense finally got going for the first time in 2017. That’s because Wilson got on the move and didn’t leave it up to his shoddy offensive line to protect him. Doug Baldwin’s groin injury could slow that progress, but if he plays I like the Seahawks to pick up where they left off last week. The Colts are allowing 30 points per game thus far, which ranks 31st in the NFL. And while Jacoby Brissett has made some highlight reel plays, he’s never made a start in Seattle, which tends to eat young quarterbacks alive. This is a lot of points to lay on a 1-2 team, but I feel like the Seahawks are about to get rolling.
