Bucs vs. Rams Week 4 Prediction
Jared Goff and the L.A. offense are off to a slow start but the Rams will have a golden opportunity to get right when they host the Bucs at 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday. That said, are the Rams trustworthy enough to lay nine points at the betting window?

Tampa Bay Bucs Fantasy Spin
Chris Godwin (hip) is questionable for the Buccaneers’ Week 4 matchup against the Rams. Godwin is a true game-time decision for Sunday. He has a tough matchup either way against Nickell Robey-Coleman, who ranks among the league’s top-10 full-time slot CBs in QB rating on targets into his coverage, yards allowed per cover snap as well as cover snaps per reception. Godwin remains locked in as a WR2 in season-long formats, although this tough road spot against a fully healthy Rams secondary is far from ideal.
Los Angeles Rams Fantasy Spin
Rams TE Tyler Higbee (bruised lung) will return for Week 4. The word came straight from coach Sean McVay on Thursday. Higbee caught six passes for 41 yards across the Rams’ first three halves of the season before going down against the Saints in Week 2. Gerald Everett did nothing in his absence. If the Rams have a “fantasy play” at tight end, it’s Higbee, though his TE2 appeal is limited.
NFL Betting Trends
Tampa Bay
The underdog is 8-3-1 against the spread in the last 12 meetings between these two teams.
Los Angeles
The Rams are a perfect 6-0 against the number in their last six games against the Bucs.
Prediction
This is a good time to hop on Goff and the Rams passing game to get right. The Bucs have one of the better run defenses in the league but that’s negated by the fact that they’re horrendous against the pass. Goff has averaged almost 100 passing yards more at home and more than double the amount of passing touchdowns than when he’s playing on the road. He should find plenty of open space in Tampa’s porous secondary to find weapons Brandin Cooks, Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. Jamies Winston is also a turnover machine and the Bucs’ offensive line has struggled in pass blocking. With a matchup today against Aaron Donald, that’s not good.
