A pair of 2-0 teams will meet on Sunday in Buffalo when the Bills host the Rams at 1:00 p.m. ET. Laying just 1.5 points as a home favorite, will the Bills earn another victory and go to 3-0 on the year or will the Rams pull off the small upset?

NFL Week 3 Regular Season
Los Angeles Rams DFS Spin
Jared Goff completed 20-of-27 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns in the Rams’ 37-19, Week 2 win over the Eagles. Relentlessly exploiting play action as the Rams dialed up 39 rush attempts, Goff averaged 9.9 yards per attempt as he found Tyler Higbee for three scores. Goff didn’t make any special plays — his longest pass went for 28 yards — but he avoided mistakes and found the soft spot in the coverage over and over again. He is off to a steady start this season after his play deteriorated over the course of 2019. That will be put to the test against the Bills’ elite defense in Week 3.
Buffalo Bills DFS Spin
Josh Allen completed 24-of-35 passes for 417 yards and four touchdowns, scrambling four times for 18 yards in Buffalo’s 31-28 Week 2 win over the Dolphins. Allen was flawless against Miami, evading a pile of pass rushers on multiple occasions en route to letting loose for completions of 47, 46, 46, 38 and 26 yards. With 729 passing yards through two games (and a career-high 417 yards on Sunday), Allen joins Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes as the only quarterbacks to compile 700 yards, six touchdowns, and 0 picks through the first two weeks of a season. He was also clutch when it counted, throwing John Brown (4/82/1) open for a 46-yard strike to push the Bills ahead 31-20 with 3:09 remaining in the final quarter. Fantasy players would be wild to even consider benching him for Buffalo’s up-tempo matchup against the Rams in Week 3.
Rams vs. Bills Betting Prediction
Allen is the first Bills quarterback to begin a season with back-to-back 300-yard passing games since Jim Kelly in 1991 and if he throws for 300 yards again today, he’ll tie the former Buffalo great for the longest 300-yard game streak in NFL history. That said, Allen also accomplished the feat against the Jets and Dolphins, two bottom-5 defenses. Jalen Ramsey has allowed a completion percentage of just 53.8%, so he’ll lock down one side of the field and I’m banking on a couple of big turnovers/mistakes out of Allen this afternoon to allow the Rams to pull off the upset.
