49ers vs. Seahawks Pick
NFC West rivals will square off at 4:05PM ET in Seattle on Sunday. Will the under cash for bettors when the 49ers and Seahawks clash?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Seahawks are 10-point home favorites versus the 49ers after opening at that same -10 number. The over/under currently sits at 40 points after opening at 40.5 points.
SAN FRANCISCO: The 49ers are off to a 1-1 start after beating the Rams 28-0 in their home-opener and falling to the Panthers 46-27 as a 12-point underdog. Blaine Gabbert was 17-of-36 for 243 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in Carolina last Sunday while Carlos Hyde rushed for just 34 yards on 14 carries and Vance McDonald led the team in receiving with one catch for 75 yards and a touchdown.
SEATTLE: The Seahawks are also 1-1 on the year after beating the Dolphins 12-10 in Week 1 and falling to the Rams 9-3 as a 5.5-point favorite last Sunday. Seattle is also 0-2 at the betting window to start the season after failing to cover in the first two games. Injured Russell Wilson (ankle) was 22-of-35 for 254 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions, while Tyler Lockett caught all four of his targets for 99 yards.
OUR PICK: The Seahawks' offensive line continues to have issues with injuries and cohesion and with Wilson dealing with an ankle injury, he was a sitting duck last weekend in L.A. Until the Seahawks figure out their issues offensively, there's no reason to take the over in any of their games. The under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings between these two teams and 5-2-1 in the last eight meetings in Seattle. Look for another low-scoring Seahawks game on Sunday.
