Giants vs. Texans Total Prediction
A pair of 0-2 teams will meet in Houston on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET when the Texans host the New York Giants. Given how many issues these two teams have had offensively in the first two weeks of the season, is the under a good play for bettors?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Texans are 6-point favorites to beat the Giants. The total, meanwhile, sits at 42 points. As of this writing, 55% of the public betting tickets are on the Texans to cover the point spread.
New York Giants
Giants CB Eli Apple (groin) is not practicing Wednesday. Apple was hurt last week against the Cowboys. He’s the starter opposite Janoris Jenkins. This is a secondary that simply can’t afford to lose any starters.
Houston Texans
Texans coach Bill O’Brien said the team will consider shifting DB Kareem Jackson between cornerback and safety throughout the season. A cornerback by trade, Jackson shifted to safety this year but moved back to corner after Kevin Johnson went down with a concussion in Week 1. However, O’Brien plans on using Jackson wherever he fits best, which could change on a week-to-week basis. “I think we have to think about that every week,” said O’Brien. “He’s one of our more versatile players on defense and he’s a smart player, so it’s easy to take him and say, ‘Hey, you’re a corner, you’re a nickel, you’re a safety.'” Jackson has had a good year so far, recording 14 tackles and two forced fumbles over 131 defensive snaps.

Prediction
Through the first two weeks of the season, these have been two of the least efficient offenses in the NFL. One would think that a game featuring Odell Beckham Jr., DeAndre Hopkins, Deshaun Watson and Saquon Barkley that the two teams would be able to light up the scoreboard. But offensive line play has been a problem for both teams and Eli Manning has not played well either. Don’t be fooled by the star power in this game: This should be a defensive struggle throughout.
