Similar to last week, it is the Green Bay Packers that are getting the most public support despite being on the road once again. The Packers face the Minnesota Vikings tonight at 8:30PM ET and oddsmakers at BetDSI have Green Bay as a 2-point road favorite. Right now, the Packers are getting 81 percent of the public wagers as a 2-point favorite. Last week, Green Bay went on the road and beat the Jaguars by 4, covering the 3.5-point spread in the process. With the Vikings still not naming a clear starter, though many expect Sam Bradford to get the nod, it’s unclear what to expect from Minnesota. The Vikings didn’t score an offensive touchdown in a 25-16 win at Tennessee last week.
Another game with a clear favorite to cover in the public’s eyes has the Los Angeles Rams hosting their first game since returning to L.A., when they face the Seattle Seahawks today at 4:05PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Seahawks as a 7-point road favorite against the Rams in this one. The public isn’t backing down from Seattle though, as 73 percent of the wagers are going on the Seahawks thus far. Despite Russell Wilson dealing with a bum ankle, they feel like the Rams’ awful 28-0 loss to the 49ers was a sign of things to come for L.A.

The game that appears to be the toughest for the public to choose on is the Houston Texans hosting the Kansas City Chiefs today at 1PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Texas as a 1-point favorite at home in this one, but it is the Chiefs slightly favored when it comes to the wagers. Kansas City is getting 51 percent of the public bets as a 1-point dog in Houston. Both teams are coming off wins in Week 1 and the 30-0 playoff win for the Chiefs over the Texans last season could still be playing a factor in the wagers.
