Bengals vs. Steelers Pick
Is the over/under set too high in this Sunday's AFC North matchup between the Bengals and Steelers at 1:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Steelers are 3.5-point home favorites over the Bengals while the over/under currently sits at 48.5 points. Pittsburgh opened as a 3-point favorite before the line was bet up a half point, and the total opened at 48.5 and hasn't moved off that original number.
CINCINNATI: The Bengals held on to beat the Jets 23-22 as a 1-point road underdog last Sunday. Quarterback Andy Dalton completed 23-of-30 pass attempts for 366 yards with one touchdown and one interception, while A.J. Green went off for 12 catches and 180 yards with one touchdown. Brandon LaFell had a good game as well, catching all four of his targets for 91 yards.
PITTSBURGH: The Steelers routed the Redskins 38-16 on Monday night as a 2.5-point road favorite. Ben Roethlisberger lit Washington up for 300 yards and three touchdowns on 27-of-37 passing with one interception. DeAngelo Williams also rushed 143 yards and two touchdowns on 26 attempts while filling in for the suspended Le'Veon Bell, while Antonio Brown caught eight-of-11 targets for 126 yards and two touchdowns.
OUR PICK: This total is set too high for two teams that no each other really well. The under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings between these two teams in Pittsburgh and is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings overall. The under is also 5-1 in the Bengals' last six games versus AFC North rivals and 11-5 in their last 16 road games, while the under is 4-1 in the Steelers' last five games overall.
