Jets vs. Bills Prediction
Which team will rebound tonight from its opening-week loss when the Bills host the Jets at 8:25PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Bills are 1-point home underdogs versus the Jets while the over/under currently sits at 40 points. Buffalo did open as a 3-point favorite but the line was bet down to New York -1, while the total opened at 42.5 before dropping down to 40 points.
JETS INJURY NEWS: Sheldon Richardson will return from his one-game suspension tonight. The Jets racked up a league-high seven sacks in their loss to the Bengals in Week 1 and now gets back one of its best defensive linemen. Wide receiver Quincy Enunwa was also upgraded to "full in Tuesday's practice and isn't on the team's Week 2 injury report.
BILLS INJURY NEWS: A source told ESPN.com's Adam Schefter that Sammy Watkins "wants to play and probably" will tonight against the Jets. Watkins is dealing with a foot injury and is listed as questionable after logging 84 percent of Buffalo's Week 1 snaps. Charles Clay (knee) is also questionable for tonight, while left tackle Cordy Glenn (ankle) has been ruled out against the Jets.
OUR PREDICTION: Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has a 47 percent completion percentage in 11 games against Rex Ryan-led defenses and has posted a 1-8 record as a starter. So while the injury news isn't good on Buffalo's front, Fitzpatrick could be the key to the Jets' downfall tonight. In what should be a defensive struggle throughout, look for the Bills to play significantly better offensively and for Tyrod Taylor to rebound from a lackluster Week 1 performance at Baltimore.
NFL WEEK 2 PREDICTION: BUFFALO BILLS +1
