Chicago Bears DFS Spin
Rams head coach Sean McVay said the team is preparing to face QB Justin Fields in special Bears offensive packages in Week 1. “I think it would be naive for us not to prepare for them to be able to utilize him in some form or fashion,” McVay said of Fields ahead of the Bears-Rams Sunday Night Football matchup on NBC. While Chicago head coach Matt Nagy is sticking with his pre-NFL Draft pledge to start Andy Dalton in Week 1, Fields will almost certainly see the field against LA. Fields' potential role as a touchdown vulture near the goal line makes Dalton an even more dreadful fantasy option against the terrifying Rams defense. Dalton should be considered a desperation option in superflex formats.
Los Angeles Rams DFS Spin
Rams coach Sean McVay said RB Sony Michel is "on track" for Week 1 against the Bears. Michel's status ultimately comes down to his knowledge of the playbook after being acquired during the final week of camp. If up to speed in that time — he'll have an extra few hours to do so since the Rams don't kick-off until Sunday night — he'll presumably be available in a committee role with Darrell Henderson. Given this recent development, it's possible Michel is eased in at first until he's at peace with McVay's scheme.
