Cards-Broncos Preview

The defending NFC Champion Arizona Cardinals will hit the road on Thursday night to take on the Denver Broncos at 9:00PM ET.

Bet NFL Future Odds

Last week, the Cardinals were defeated 44-37 by the Packers at home as they failed to cover the 3.5-point spread. The over 41.5 clearly covered in the contest.

The Broncos also lost in Week 3, falling to a familiar foe in Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears. Denver failed to cover the 1.5-point spread in their 27-17 loss, while the combined score went over the posted total of 39.5.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com has made the Broncos 3.5-point home under dogs over the Cardinals on Thursday night, while the over/under total has been set at 36.5.

After having to come out of the game early against the Bears last week, Denver quarterback Kyle Orton is expected to see much action. Neither is Bronco running back Knowshown Moreno, who suffered a MCL injury in Denver’s preseason opener. After getting thrashed by the Packers last week, the Cardinals may leave their defensive starters in longer than most teams usually do in their preseason finale.
