Chiefs vs. Seahawks Preseason Pick
Will the Seahawks handle the Chiefs tonight when the two teams meet at 8:00PM ET in NFL preseason play?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Seahawks are 3-point home favorites versus the Chiefs, while the over/under currently sits at 43 points. Seattle opened as a 3.5-point favorite before the number dropped to 3, while the total hit the board at 41.5 before jumping to 43.
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS: The Chiefs won their second preseason game, beating the Bengals 30-12 in Cincinnati last week. Rookie Patrick Mahomes continued to impress, throwing two touchdown passes while completed 10-of-14 passes for 88 yards. Charcandrick West also had a big game, rushing seven times for 113 yards. Travis Kelce caught one pass for 36 yards.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS: The Seahawks have won their first two preseason games, beating the Chargers 48-17 and the Vikings 20-13. IN that game last week versus Minnesota, Russell Wilson completed 13-of-18 passes for 206 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Alex Collins also rushed for 58 yards on 10 carries and Doug Baldwin caught four passes for 69 yards.
OUR PREDICTION: I know Mahomes has had a nice preseason but considering this is a dress rehearsal for the regular season, I think Wilson will put together a solid first half for the Seahawks to build a lead. Trevone Boykin has had a good preseason as well, so I think he can match Mahomes when the backups get into the game in the second half.
