NFL Prop Odds: Passing Yards
(The Spread) – Which quarterback will throw for the most passing yards in the 2013 NFL regular season? Let’s check out the odds.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Drew Brees of the Saints is a 4/1 favorite to pass for the most yards in 2013 while Aaron Rodgers of the Packers has the next-best odds at 6/1. Matthew Stafford of the Lions, meanwhile, is 13/2 while Peyton Manning of the Broncos is 7/1 and Matt Ryan of the Falcons is 10/1.
Continuing with the odds, Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady is 12/1 to pass for the most yards in the NFL this season, while Tony Romo of the Cowboys and Andrew Luck of the Colts are both 15/1. Eli Manning of the Giants is also 20/1, while Jay Cutler of the Bears is 28/1 and Philip Rivers (Chargers), Matt Schaub (Texans), Cam Newton (Panthers) and Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers) are all 33/1, respectively.
A handful of quarterbacks have odds of 40/1, which includes Sam Bradford (Rams), Carson Palmer (Cardinals), Josh Freeman (Bucs), Andy Dalton (Bengals), Joe Flacco (Ravens) and Colin Kaepernick (49ers). Robert Griffin III of the Redskins, Ryan Tannehill of the Dolphins and Alex Smith of the Chiefs are all 50/1 to throw for the most yards in 2013.
The long shots for this prop odd include Russell Wilson of the Seahawks (66/1), Michael Vick of the Eagles (66/1) and Mark Sanchez of the Jets, who is 200/1.
Brees threw for the most yards last season at 5,177, while Stafford threw for 4,967 yards and Romo threw for the third-highest yardage mark at 4,903. Brady, meanwhile, threw for 4,827 yards and Ryan threw for 4,719. Peyton Manning (4,659), Luck (4,374), Rodgers (4,295), Freeman (4,065) and Palmer (4,018) round out your top 10 passers from last season in terms of yards.
