Jets vs. Lions Preseason Prediction
Will the Lions and Jets struggle to score tonight when they meet in Detroit at 7:30PM ET for NFL preseason play?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Lions are 5.5-point home favorites tonight versus the Jets, while the over/under currently sits at 38 points. Neither the point spread nor the over/under have moved off the original numbers.

NEW YORK JETS: The Jets are expected to have running back Bilal Powell (neck) for tonight’s game. He sat out last week’s preseason opener with a neck injury but resumed practicing on Tuesday. Matt Forte (hamstring), Lorenzo Mauldin (back), Daniel Williams (concussion) and Marquess Wilson (hip) have all been ruled out for tonight’s game. Quincy Enunwa, who is out for the season due to a bulging disk in his neck, is also out.
DETROIT LIONS: The Lions won’t have Eric Ebron, who is dealing with a hamstring injury and who missed every practice this week. Meanwhile, the Lions continue to get Greg Robinson up to speed at left tackle. With Taylor Decker (shoulder) out until at least October, Robinson has an opportunity to resurrect his career after he was a massive bust for the Rams.

OUR PREDICTION: The hapless Jets mustered only a single touchdown in their 7-3 victory over the Titans in their preseason opener. They have major issues at quarterback and own one of the least-talented rosters in the NFL. As for the Lions, they hung 24 points on Indianapolis in their preseason opener but I’m willing to bet that they fall under that number tonight in a low-scoring game.
