Vikings vs. Seahawks Prediction
Will the Vikings cover the number tonight in Seattle when they visit the Seahawks at 10:00PM ET in preseason action?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Seahawks are 4-point home favorites versus the Vikings, while the over/under currently sits at 40 points. Seattle opened as a 3-point favorite before the number was bet up to 4, while the total hit the board at 40.5 before dropping slightly to 40.
Thomas Rawls will miss tonight’s preseason game for Seattle. The running back is dealing with a minor ankle injury and the team wants to be cautious. Eddie Lacy will start in his place and has an opportunity to potentially close the gap between him and Rawls in the starting RB competition.
Meanwhile, Laquon Treadwell returned to practice last weekend after sitting out Thursday’s game after getting injured in a practice fight last week. He’s not fully recovered, but he should be on track to play tonight. As for backup running back Bishop Sankey, he was placed on injured reserve due to a knee injury.

OUR PREDICTION: Four points is a lot to lay in a preseason game, even if the game is in Seattle. The Vikings have solid depth on both sides of the ball (outside of their offensive line), so their backups should be able to compete with the Seahawks’ second and third-stringers. I’ll take the points.
