Bears’ 2015 NFL Win Total Odds
CHICAGO, IL (The Spread) – The Bears have a new head coach and a new impact receiver but will change translate to a winning season in 2015?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bears’ over/under for wins for 2015 has been set at 7, with the over carrying odds of +120 and the under carrying odds of -150. Chicago also has 50/1 odds to win the 2016 Super Bowl and is a 28/1 long shot to win the NFC Conference championship.
The Bears have a new head coach in John Fox, who replaces Marc Trestman. The team also traded receiver Brandon Marshall to the Jets and selected Kevin White with the No. 7 overall pick in April’s draft. Other offseason additions included safety Antrel Rolle, receiver Eddie Royal and pass rusher Pernell McPhee.
Fox and new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio will turn around the defense but it’s going to take time for general manager Ryan Pace to rebuild the roster on that side of the ball. Due to the dearth of talent and quality depth on defense, the Bears could wind up in the basement of the NFC North. What kind of production the Bears will receive from quarterback Jay Cutler is also an annual question.
