Kelly: Tim Tebow here to compete
PHILADELPHIA, PA (The Spread) – During the 2015 NFL Draft Chip Kelly took time to answer questions about his team, including whether or not Tim Tebow was signed just to throw passes in camp.
“I think everybody here that we bring to our organziation is here to compete for a job,” Kelly said. “That’s what Timmy is going to do. He’s an unbelivable competitor.”
Kelly was asked by NFL Network’s Rich Eisen about remarks made by Mark Sanchez, who suggested Tebow was only signed by the team to be a camp arm. Sam Bradford continues to rehab an ACL injury suffered in preseason last year and the Eagles could use another arm for drills.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Eagles are 18/1 to win the 2016 Super Bowl and are 10/1 to win the NFC Conference championship next season.
