Titans send No. 1 pick to Rams
In a surprising move on Thursday, the Tennessee Titans have agreed to trade the No. 1 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft to the Los Angeles Rams.
ESPN came out with news of the trade early on Thursday morning and the deal involved a lot of future picks. Here is a breakdown of the trade from Paul Kuharsky.
“Tennessee will send the top selection along with its fourth- (No. 113) and sixth-round (No. 177) picks this year to the Rams in exchange for Los Angeles’ first-round pick (No. 15), two second-round selections (Nos. 43 and 45) and a third-round pick (No. 76) in 2016. The Titans also will get the Rams’ first- and third-round picks in 2017.”

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Rams are currently listed with 60/1 odds to win Super Bowl LI next season while the Titans are listed with 75/1 odds.
With the trade, the Titans now have six of the first 76 picks in the NFL Draft, as they look to stock pile talent and build through depth. The Rams, however, hamper their overall draft outlook for the next few years, but obviously must feel strongly about making a splash in L.A. with the No. 1 pick. One has to assume a quarterback could be their focus.
