Manziel reportedly out of rehab
CLEVELAND, OH (The Spread) – ESPN Browns reporter Jeremy Fowler is reporting that quarterback Johnny Manziel has been released from a drug and alcohol treatment facility.
Manziel checked himself into a rehabilitation center on February 4. Afterwards, the Browns released a statement addressing the situation stating, ” Johnny knows there are areas in which he needs to improve in order to be a better family member, friend and teammate and he thought the off-season was the right time to take this step.”
The Browns QB wound up spending more than two months in treatment ostensibly to get his life and football career back on track. Whether or not he still has a future in Cleveland is unknown, especially after the team signed Josh McCown to starter’s money this offseason. The Browns were reportedly interested in trading for Sam Bradford before the former Ram was dealt to Philadelphia.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Browns are 75/1 long shots to win the 2016 Super Bowl and 33/1 to win the AFC Conference Championship next season.
