Month before NFL Draft, Patriots Favored to Win Super Bowl 3/25/18

With a month to go before the 2018 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots remain the favorites to win the 2019 Super Bowl.

New England Patriots

According to oddsmakers from online sports book YouWager, the Pats are favored to win the 2019 Super Bowl at 6/1 odds. New England lost starting left tackle Nate Solder to the Giants this offseason and could attempt to replace him with a rookie or LaAdrian Waddle, who was re-signed to a one-year contract. The Pats also saw Danny Amendola sign with the Dolphins and they acquired WR/KR Cordarrelle Patterson and a 2018 sixth-round pick from the Raiders in exchange for a 2018 fifth-round pick.

Philadelphia Eagles

The defending Super Bowl champions are listed at 8/1 to repeat as title winners, which gives the Eagles the next-best odds to win it all behind the Patriots. Philadelphia has been busy this offseason, acquiring defensive lineman Michael Bennett from the Seahawks, restructuring pass-rusher Lane Johnson, Chris Long and Zach Ertz's contracts, re-signing linebacker Nigel Bradham to a new five-year, $40 million contract, and signing free agents Haloti Ngata and Mike Wallace to a one-year deals.

Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings made the biggest splash this offseason, signing quarterback Kirk Cousins to a massive contract. Minnesota currently has the third-best odds to win the 2019 Super Bowl at 10/1, although the Steelers have those same odds. Along with Cousins, the Vikings also signed Sheldon Richardson and acquired quarterback Trevor Siemian and a 2018 seventh-round pick from the Broncos in exchange for a 2019 fifth-round selection.

Pittsburgh Steelers

As previously mentioned, the Steelers have 10/1 odds to win the Super Bowl. As usual around this time of year, the Steelers have been quiet in free agency. They did sign safety Morgan Burnett and Jon Bostic, as well as assigning the franchise tag to running back Le'Veon Bell, but otherwise have not been active in free agency.
