According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Patriots are 2.5-point favorites to beat the Rams. The total, meanwhile, sits at 56.5 points. As of this writing, 76% of the public betting tickets are on the Patriots to cover the point spread.
Head-to-Head Series Trends
In the last six meetings between these two teams, the Patriots are 5-1 against the spread. There is a caveat, however. In the last seven meetings between the Patriots and Rams, the underdog is 5-2 at the betting window.

The Patriots are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven Super Bowls but are 9-3 against the number in their last 12 playoff games, which includes covers versus the Chargers and Chiefs this postseason. New England is also 39-17 at the betting window in its last 56 games overall, is 39-18-2 against the number in its last 59 games following a win and is 82-40-2 ATS in its last 124 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in its previous contest. The Rams are a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four games overall, which includes covers against the Cowboys as a 7-point home favorite in the Divisional round, as well as a 3-point cover as an underdog versus the Saints in the NFC Championship Game. The Rams re also 4-1-1 against the spread in their last six games coming off a win but are just 5-15-1 ATS in the last 21 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game.

The under is 8-3 in the Patriots’ last 11 games overall but the over is 7-1 in their last eight playoff games. The over is also 9-3 in the Rams’ last 12 games after allowing fewer than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
