James White is wrapping up his fifth season as a pro, all with the Patriots. He rushed for a career-high 425 yards on 94 carries and five touchdowns but his biggest impact once again came in the passing game. Targeted 123 times this season, White caught 87 passes for 751 yards and seven touchdowns. All three marks were career highs for the former Wisconsin Badger.

Seeing as how White didn’t receive a carry versus the Chargers in the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs but rushed six times against the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, I wouldn’t touch his rushing props. That said, he’s going to be a big factor in the passing game again on Sunday. The Rams’ biggest weakness on defense is arguably their linebackers. I predict Josh McDaniels will attempt to exploit that matchup by using White heavily in the passing game, much like he did against the Chargers when the running back was targeted a whopping 17 times for 15 catches and 97 receiving yards.
