Doug Baldwin Prop Odds
GLENDALE, AZ (The Spread) – If a receiver is going to have a big impact for the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX, it is probably Doug Baldwin. What do oddsmakers think he will do?
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Baldwin has been given long odds of 33/1 to be the Super Bowl XLIX MVP. His over/under totals have been set at 54.5 for receiving yards and 4.5 for receptions. His odds of scoring a touchdown have been set at +170. Super Bowl XLIX will be played on Sunday, Feb. 1 from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona at 6:30PM ET.
Baldwin caught 66 passes for 825 yards and three touchdowns during the regular season, leading the Seahawks in nearly every receiving stat category. He averaged 51.6 yards per game. In the playoffs, the fourth-year receiver had three catches for 38 yards and a score against the Panthers and then had six receptions for 106 yards against the Packers. He also returns some punts and kicks for Seattle, so there is potential for him to score that way.
Baldwin has appeared in all 18 games for Seattle this season and he has had at least 55 receiving yards in six of those games while catching at least 5 passes in seven of them. Baldwin has recorded a touchdown in four different games. Baldwin and the Seahawks face a Patriots’ pass defense that was 17th in the NFL this season, allowing 239.8 yards per game through the air.
