Jags-Steelers Line Climbs Slightly
The line for Sunday afternoon's Divisional Round matchup for the Jaguars and Steelers has climbed slightly. Here's a snapshot of the current odds for this weekend's NFL playoff games.
Falcons at Eagles, 4:35 p.m. ET, Saturday
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Eagles are 3-point home underdogs to beat the Falcons. Philadelphia is the first team in NFL playoff history to be a home underdog in a No. 1 vs. No. 6 Divisional round matchup. Of course, if Carson Wentz were starting over Nick Foles, then the Eagles would likely be a sizable home favorite. But with Wentz (knee) out and Foles struggling, Philly has been a steady 3-point dog all week.
Titans at Patriots, 8:15 p.m. ET, Saturday
The point spread for this game hasn't budged since opening at 13.5 in favor of the Patriots. The Titans pulled off the upset of Wild Card Weekend but oddsmakers aren't giving Tennessee much of a chance to advance to the AFC Championship Game next week. The total for this game has stayed steady as well, opening at 47 points and staying at that number throughout the week.
Jaguars at Steelers, 1:05 p.m. ET, Sunday
While the two games on Saturday haven't moved off their original numbers, the two games on Sunday have shown slight line movement. In the first matchup, the Steelers have gone from a 7-point home favorite up to a 7.5-point fave to beat the Jaguars in a rematch of a regular-season meeting between these two teams. The total has also moved slightly, opening at 41 but dipping to 40.5 at most online sports books.
Saints at Vikings, 4:40 p.m. ET, Sunday
There has also been some movement for the final game of the Divisional Round. The Vikings opened as 3.5-point favorites but the line has climbed to 4 despite public bettors siding with the Saints at a 63% clip. With 63% of the money being on Minnesota, it would appear as though we have a "Sharps versus Joes" situation, with the wiseguys backing the Vikes and public bettors taking the underdog Saints.
