49ers vs. Packers Prop Odds

GREEN BAY, WI (The Spread) – The San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers will have two very different, but very key quarterbacks meeting on Sunday. Here is a look at the prop odds for this game.

View Current NFL Odds

The Packers will have their hands full with Colin Kapernick at quarterback. According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Kaepernick has been given over/under odds of 40.5 rushing yards for this game. You will recall in last year’s playoffs, Kaepernick torched the Packers’ defense for 181 rushing yards and two touchdowns. This season, Kaepernick has toned down some of his running, as he had just 524 yards for the season, an average of 32.8 yards per game. He had just 22 rushing yards when the two met in the season opener and has rushed for at least 41 yards in just five games this season. Green Bay has some injury issues at linebacker, though, which could open the door for Kaepernick to pick up some yards on the ground.

Green Bay will be turning to Aaron Rodgers to be the one to lead them to a win on Sunday. Rodgers missed a good portion of the season with a broken collarbone, but returned last week to get Green Bay a win in Chicago for the NFC North title. Rodgers has been given over/under odds of 270.5 passing yards for Sunday’s game. Rodgers threw for 2,536 yards and 17 touchdowns in his limited action. He averaged 268.8 yards per game, but that included a game where he only played one quarter. Rodgers looked a little rusty last week, but still threw for 318 yards and two touchdowns. In the season opener against San Francisco, he threw for 333 yards and three scores. He has thrown for at least 271 yards in six of the nine games he has played in. San Francisco had the seventh-best passing defense in the NFL this season, but that didn’t seem to matter in the opener in San Francisco.
