MANKATO, Minn. (AP) -Jeff Jamrog resigned Wednesday as football coach at Minnesota State University, Mankato, to take an administrative position at Nebraska.
The 42-year-old Jamrog was 17-27 in four seasons with the Mavericks, including a 6-5 mark in 2004 that was the program’s first winning season since 1994.
He was a three-year letterman at Nebraska, where he was a starting outside linebacker in 1987 and also was a coach.
