STORRS, Conn. (AP) -Connecticut running back Andre Dixon has been suspended from the team for violating team rules.
UConn coach Randy Edsall says Dixon made a mistake, but he won't say exactly what the junior from New Brunswick, N.J., did.
Dixon was a second-team All Big East running back last year. He ran for more than 800 yards last season, but has played sparingly this year because of the emergence of Donald Brown as the nation's top rusher.
