WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) -Purdue will play Central Michigan in the Motor City Bowl in Detroit on Dec. 26.
Purdue (7-5, 3-5 Big Ten) and Central Michigan (8-5, 6-1 Mid-American Conference) met earlier in the season, and the Boilermakers won 45-22 at home.
The Motor City Bowl, which will be played at Ford Field, will be televised by ESPN.
It will be Purdue's 10th bowl appearance in 11 seasons under coach Joe Tiller.
The Chippewas played in the Motor City Bowl last season, beating Middle Tennessee 31-14 in their first Division I-A bowl game.
