BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -Colt David became the leading scorer in LSU history with a 51-yard field goal in the second quarter against Georgia on Saturday.
David’s kick, which cut Georgia’s lead to 21-10, gave the senior kicker 320 points in his career, passing former LSU running back and current New England Patriot Kevin Faulk.
The field goal was David’s 46th in his career to go with 176 extra points and a touchdown, which he scored on fake field goal against South Carolina last season.
Faulk scored 318 points on 53 TDs in his four-year Tigers career.
