NEW YORK (AP) -Quarterback Michael Smooke ran for three touchdowns and connected with John Gagliano on a 35-yard touchdown pass to lead New York Maritime to its first shutout, 27-0 over Gallaudet on Saturday.
Smooke carried 21 times for 70 yards and connected on 9 of 13 passes for 191 yards for the Privateers (3-3), who held Gallaudet (1-4) under 200 yards in reaching a third win for the first time.
