LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says he’s trying to reach Missouri coach Gary Pinkel to discuss Chase Daniel’s comments about the Cornhuskers being a dirty team.
The Tigers star quarterback said a Nebraska player spit on him before Saturday night’s game, which Missouri won 52-17.
Pelini said Sunday he watched video of the game and saw nothing out of line. He said he would investigate further, adding that it would “unacceptable” if Daniel’s accusation were true.
