NEW YORK (AP) -Quarterback Billy Poling threw a pair of touchdown passes of 60 and 5 yards to Eddie Hull as Morrisville won its first game of the season, 39-38, against New York Maritime on Saturday.
Hull’s 60-yard reception came at 5:34 of the first quarter and the five-yarder at 5:40 of the second for the Mustangs (1-4).
Poling finished 18 for 27 for 216 yards.
The Privateers (2-3) closed to within 39-38 at 4:51 of the final quarter on a 23-yard run by Robert Nichols.
The extra point attempt by Klestor Pellumbi hit the upright and went out of bounds.
